Let the Social Media Madness Begin: Black Widow’s 12 days of Christmas Contest and more

Well here we are a few weeks out from Christmas and 2013. Parties, shopping, giving, receiving and most of all reflecting on what has come to pass and all that has yet to be unveiled. So lets get right to it, this is the BEST time of the year to be a fan of BLACK WIDOW.

Black Widow’s 2nd annual 12 Days of Christmas contest is getting underway today, and trust me, you don’t want to miss out on it this year. Last year the action Monday through Friday was fast and furious. To the 12 winners, their names etched in history. To the rest of us…well, we weren’t fed to the lions, we just didn’t win.

You do not find many companies willing to put the resources into running a contest like this for their fans. Black Widow is a hero to it’s fans. During 2011’s 12 Days contest, we saw multiple grip sets, BW ball markers, spike sets, ball retrievers, branded golf towels, coveted BW golf shirts, putter grips (my favorite. ) and a SunMountain Black Widow thermal pull over. Right here I have to say  *** rumor has it, this year’s contest is even better than last year*** and possibly even items we have never seen before.

To play, just be sure to ‘ LIKE ‘ Black Widows facebook page. At some point during the morning, Black Widow’s outstanding social media manager extraordinaire will post some like this,

All you have to do is be the fastest on the response to what ever may be asked. Worth the effort for free Black Widow gear, and delivered in time for xmas giving. There has been amazing giveaways and contests all year long on the Black Widow social sites, something almost every month. But this is by far my favorite one. On the West coast you might have to be out of bed by 9am to log on in time but you should be anyway. I’m just jealous…

Black Widows 2012 Fan of the Year contest has also just been announced. This is something close to my heart as it’s the reason the ambassadors sit down and write each week. To keep the interest building in everything Black Widow does including Softspikes and Pride Sports. This contest is for the 10 most active hardcore fans on the Black Widow social scene. Some of us make an obscene amount of posts to the BW pages, some state their case on Twitter, then there is the rest of the best. The top 10 all receive something special from Mother’s web, a set of Black Widow head covers and the hat of the year Black Widows Sidewinder Hat. The Fan of the Year also receives a TaylorMade RBZ 3 wood. For fairness that lucky person is drawn out of a hat (so please, if you think you are in the running, don’t crash the server with compliments to Black Widow at the end of the year). So good luck, winning is easy when you love Black Widow.

  2. Black Widow Has some of the best PR and Customer Service in the Industry. No other company gives out the amount of prizes that they do, and I am proud to say that I support their products fully. I Appreciate everything you do as a company and wish more places would follow your mold!

  9. Yeah buddy! Well done Chris! Another great year just about over, and with it the memories, some good, some not so good, but all a part of making us who we are (BLACK WIDOW FANS!) and paving the way for what’s to come!
    BW’s fans wouldn’t be as fanatical as they are if it weren’t for the tireless efforts of its brand ambassadors so you guys should all take a bow for a job well done!
    And to BW … the 12 Days Of Christmas giveaways AND Fan of the Year?! You guys are crazy!! No wonder all your fans love you guys!! Keep up the great work and 2013 will be a banner year for BW!!

  11. Great article, Chris. I have recently converted to Black Widow and can honestly say that I won’t be straying from them. Great company that makes great products. I hope that these prizes go to some good, grateful people.
